Day at the Beach, We wish

My Brother Wes and his family (wife Rachel, daughter Ali, and Ali's friend Kaylee)came for a visit. We had a wonderful time. We decided that a trip to RI's beach was needed. What a mistake! I do love Rhode Island's beaches, very much. On this particular day the beaches were so packed we could not find any place to park. I know, I was like "WHAT!" how can we not find a parking spot? but its true. The beaches were so crowd -- can I say unbelievable. Sooo sad, we made the best of it. Enjoyed the view from the car and headed home. We did seem to find my future beach house. There are so many excessively beautiful, large, and expensive homes; however, this one was perfect. It's not too big, too small, or too fancy. And I think its a great house for entertaining and has one hell of a view of the ocean . I can't wait to buy it. There were millions of theses flowers everywhere -- so pretty. Starting out eveyone was chipper and Trey was the man!This is the ride home. I love this picture. how sweet. Today is Trey's 5th birthday. Happy Birthday Baby! I can't believe you're five.

Trey with all of his gifts -- Aunt Bertha you really out did yourself this year, like every year. Trey was so surprise to get the traffic stop light. He wanted to wear his chef hat and apron while making everyone stop what they were doing every time the traffic light changed to red and said stop in spanish. Can I use a Wessism please? NOT NICE!

Thanks to grandmom, grandma, grandpa, and Aunt Bertha for the great gifts and the wonderful birthday.

The Hartford Jazz Festival

The Hartford Jazz Festival was a good time.

Trey especially had a super time with Lliam.

Dad's visit

My Dad and Lawanda visited us from Oregon. We had a good time. Well, I did! Dad and Lawanda I worked like dogs. We weeded, did laundry, cut trees down, made small repairs around the house, built steps for the front porch, went for 3 mile walks and enjoyed cocktails every evening. It was a GREAT visit. Dad and Lawanda, I sincerely thank you for everything.

Look at my dad! we (he!) finished the steps and I think he looks relieved to be done. Pop pop is so much fun. Trey loved the visit with grammy and pop pop.

Bob had to leave us. He says (Hmmm Hm!)he had office work to finish. My beautiful son and my fab new steps!!!
